Monkeyshed Wines

There's something so prim and proper about the wilderness in the south of France. I don't mean that in a derogatory way its more as though someone's been through it cleaning up so you can sit and eat you picnic off the rocks safe in the knowledge that your trousers wont be sodden in the seat and your country sausage wont get covering in grit if you were unfortunate enough to drop it. They've even had a word with Mother Nature and arranged the perfect herbal and floral scented drop back. Ahhh makes me smile just thinking about it.
For the wine, add a bit of earthy minerality, punchy ripeness and good solid astringency for structure and that's what this is all about - bottled garrigue. This could only ever have come from one place and oh what a lovely place to come from.
